Dr. Johnson is an orthodontic specialist who received his training from Case Western Reserve University. During his residency, he acted as chief resident and obtained his master’s degree in orthodontics. His research emphasis was on identification of sleep apnea in the pediatric population. Dr. Johnson was also the recipient of the prestigious Sandford Neuger Award for Clinical Excellence.
Prior to his orthodontic training, Dr. Johnson graduated magna cum laude from Valparaiso University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science while majoring in both biology and chemistry. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Case Western Reserve University. Upon graduation, Dr. Johnson served as a Captain in the US Army as a general dentist for three years. Dr. Johnson was born and raised in Michigan, but has lived in Cleveland for over a decade and now calls Cleveland home. He resides in Orange Village with his wife, Tausha, and their dog. When Dr. Johnson isn’t working to create beautiful smiles, he enjoys playing the piano, golfing, watching Cleveland sports, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Johnson feels fortunate to have the opportunity to improve an individual’s smile and their confidence. He enjoys the balance of art and science orthodontics provides and looks forward to serving the community.
Dr. Johnson is a member of the: American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), American Dental Association (ADA), and the Ohio Dental Association (ODA).
